The artistic practise of Relin Sips may be described as the exploration of the artistic process.

How can we question the methods that lead to an artwork? When can the common become personal, and the personal common? Which factors contribute to artistic process? What is an artwork? Which factors play a role during the artistic process? Questioning is the start of the experiments. Searching itself plays a very significant role in her work. Relin's personal and intuitive visual language is usually the start of her research, during artistic experiments she invites the spectator to become part of her world. A world were fundamental questions about the artistic process itself are being approached. These fundamental questions in combination with her rich visual language allows for a very intriguing setting. Her work work usually consists of multimedia installations, sculptures, film and performance. A meeting point were intuition, craft and research collide.
